30 Days; Day 5 The Story

The Story

Your New Script Part 3

Thinking Practice

There is a story that you tell yourself. Words and feelings and images, sensations of memories; the telling is intimately connected to your physiology and to your deep-seated unshakable truths. You feel it in your gut. Your thoughts become physical, your heart pounds, your skin sweats, the reactions of your flesh are indecipherable from your experiences, from your environment. The inside changes. The outside braces against the energy.

Our stories and our memories contain many keys to our advancement and show us many answers to our many questions. Our answers are full of truth yet only scratch the surface of our reasoning.

Why can’t you follow your dream?

Why can’t you move, or live where you want?

Why can’t you start that business?

Why aren’t you in shape?

Everybody’s favorite all time answer: I don’t have time. Too busy.

We could go through a list of answers but we all know what they are in truth; excuses. The reality is that someone has been in a worse or lower position than we are and they have overcome, they have found the way to make a way. The truth is that they have discipline or desire or vision that we cannot seem to find, or perhaps we have never decided to look. Maybe we do not want to change.

What we do not have is the luxury of time. There is not enough and it is soon over for everyone.

If you are truly happy with yourself and your situation; if you don’t have a dream or don’t really care if you live a life that is more than what you currently have then please enjoy your life; live it out with gratitude and in peace, think no more of anything that takes away from the life you choose. Just make sure it is your true choice, that every part of you agrees and is settled in it.

For everyone else, you must realize that things are going to get uncomfortable. Tension and resistance are in your future, you must train and practice in order to grow, you must be set and firm in seeing the outcome which you desire.

In practicing for a new role we should seek to adopt and develop the habits, attitudes and perceptions of our character. We must change our ways if we are to change our story.

Health Practice

If we are to live our best lives and fill our role, we will need our personal methods of practicing health. As most things, this is actually simple yet not easy. Sleeping, eating and exercising are obvious pillars; rest, recovery, recreation, meditation, and service may not be so obvious. Mental health and dealing with stress appropriately are extremely important.

Wealth Practice

Let’s face it, we all want some money. Even if we negate it and hate it. Even if we look at those who “have” it with disdain or think that wealth and wealthy people are not good. We may need to practice a better relationship with money if we are to see some in our lives.

Certainly wealth is more than just money and you can be rich with money and poor in spirit or in love. Money may be the object and the subject but true wealth represents the state of not lacking any good thing. This includes happiness and good work and friendship and anything that makes for a full and complete life.

People Practice

The economy is the exchange of goods and services and ideas and time and resources. Essentially, it is the exchange. The interchange and fellowship between people; the results of efforts of creation and labors of mind and body.

People are the answer to life, we are here for each other, without people, there is no story. We must practice and develop our ways of service and love and contribution and legacy.

I am full of life and joy.
I care for others and I want them to live the fullest life possible.
I am intimidated by no person or by any situation.
My heart is at ease, I am confident and grounded.

It is time to take control of the stream of thought and to reprogram our subconscious meditations to serve us and our best life.

Now Is The Time

It is day 5 of 30 and it is time to get to work.

You have a foundation for your story, you have ideas and different thoughts and momentum towards a different life. Build that life. See it. Feel it. Say it. Write down your goals. Ask better questions. Give yourself freedom to be who you really are.

Write your story as it should be.

Limit yourself no longer.

Where do you live? What do you love about your home? About your community?

What is your work? How are you a leader and a visionary in your industry? What does your business contribute to the world?

What do you drive? Feel yourself smile as you sit down and start the engine, feel the power, grab the wheel, go for a drive, see the sights.

How did you get here? What changed? What thoughts do you have about yourself and the world now that everything is for you?

See yourself enjoying great relationships and wonderful experiences with loved ones. Imagine the vacations and excursions, feel the adventure and the joy.

What does it take to enjoy your life now and to start the journey?

How are you planning on practicing your role? Have you scheduled time for rehearsals? Have you abandoned lower thoughts and useless imaginations?

Day 6 will see the culmination of the previous content into a sample script for your review.

Must. Keep. Going.
